The Kauffmann Foundation is a US foundation with $2.6bn AUM and over $1bn invested in PE/VC funds.

Diane Mulcahy, Private Equity Adviser at the Foundation is a lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Division at Babson College, visiting fellow at the Bruegel Institute, and a bestselling author of the “Gig Economy” (Harper Collins, 2016).

In 2012, Diane analyzed the performances of the Kauffmann Foundation’s VC portfolio in a report, “WE HAVE MET THE ENEMY… AND HE IS US”, which drew a lot of attention at the time…She joined us for this March IPEM Rendez-Vous and commented on the latest trends in VC – including the attractiveness of early-stage VC, the SPAC craze, and the sky-high valuations.
