The Kauffmann Foundation is a US foundation with $2.6bn AUM and over $1bn invested in PE/VC funds.

Diane Mulcahy, Private Equity Adviser at the Foundation is also lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Division at Babson College, visiting fellow at the Bruegel Institute, and bestselling author of the “Gig Economy” (Harper Collins, 2016).

In 2012, Diane analyzed the performances of the Kauffmann Foundation’s VC portfolio in a report, “WE HAVE MET THE ENEMY… AND HE IS US”, that drew a lot of attention at the time…She joined us for this March IPEM Rendez-Vous, and commented on the latest trends in VC – including the attractiveness of early stage VC, the SPAC craze and the sky high valuations.
