Q1: "Can we change the information/preferences in My LP Profile as many times as we want or is it fixed?"
Yes, you don’t have a limited number of time you can change your information in your profile. You can change your information whenever you want and as many times as you want.
Q2: " Is the affinity score only relevant for GPs and LPs? If we are a business service / advisor, do we have to do this?"
The affinity score is only between LPs and GPs. However, Business Services and Advisors can still be found through the participant area.
Q3: "So there is no live chat but rather emails right?"
No, there is no live chat, myIPEM is an email service using encrypted accounts and emails. With myIPEM, you can connect with other participants and unlock emails in order to reveal your real account (as for example your Outlook account).
Q7: " If we are completing the profile on behalf of our participants (we are GP), is this practical from a networking point of view or would you recommend that they complete their own profiles."
Yes, you can complete the profile of your participants but you have to be assigned as an assistant.
Q8: "As an LP, will I be able to set the affinity score threshold allowing GPs to contact me or is that predetermined by IPEM?"
