📝 Each year, Private Market leaders from around the globe are invited to submit applications to one or more of the IPEM Wealth Awards categories. A fee of 1,000 € per application applies.

🔎 All applications are reviewed by Indefi, our Selection Committee Partner, to ensure completeness and overall quality.

🗣️ The IPEM Wealth Awards Jury convenes to determine at least 3 champions in each awards category. Jury members are hand-selected for their expertise and relevancy for each awards category.

The Jury selection accounts for 90% of of the overall score. All applicants, champions or not, receive personal feedback regarding their submission.

🗳️ The public votes to determine who among the champions wins gold, silver, and bronze in each awards category.

The public vote accounts for 10% of of the overall score. All champions are provided with communications materials to facilitate promotion of the voting campaign.

✨ Gold, silver, and bronze champions are revealed on stage at the IPEM Wealth Awards Gala Dinner in Cannes! All champions receive a communications kit to promote their win.

Crucially, nomination fees are only requested from the select group of nominees who have passed this high-quality threshold and are confirmed to proceed to the final jury review phase. This structure guarantees that only validated excellence moves forward.

Fabio Osta, MD, Head of the Alternatives Specialists Team in EMEA Wealth. Raphaela M.L. Schröder began her career at UBS before spending many years at Rothschild & Co. Afterward, she worked at Maerki Baumann, a Swiss private bank, as Senior Portfolio Manager Private Markets. In this role, Raphaela led the development of the bank’s private market strategy—from defining the strategy to investment selection (sourcing, due diligence, and allocation) and operational improvements—building a multi-strategy private market portfolio encompassing private equity, private debt, and private infrastructure. Paolo Simonato has been a private equity investor for over 20 years with significant track record and a broad international network. Paolo advises Mediobanca on the Mediobanca-BlackRock Co-Investments Program for high net worth individuals (€1.4B committed), which he helped structuring in 2020. From 2022, he also advises Trilantic Europe Energy Transition Investments, a sector-focused private equity fund with €375mm in commitments. Formerly, he was co-head of BlackRock Private Equity Partners in Europe (>$17B global AUM) with a large pan-european team based in London and Zurich, where he launched the 1st BlackRock ELTIF program in Europe. Prior to BlackRock, Paolo was at General Electric and GE Capital for 24 years. He also established a multi-awarded JV with Ares Capital Management for unitranche financing.
