IPEM Cannes has been the flagship event for Private Market professionals since 2016 and is now leading the Wealth Revolution in Private Capital with the launch of IPEM Wealth! This milestone event also features the first-ever IPEM Wealth Awards, celebrating excellence across the industry.

Under the theme “New Promises for Private Markets”, the January 2025 edition is set to take place at a pivotal moment for private capital. While macroeconomic challenges have been extensively discussed and can now be considered the “new normal,” fantastic opportunities are also just around the corner for our industry. This year’s theme, New Promises for Private Markets, reflects this exciting shift. Private markets are not only poised to outperform but also to continue innovating in deals, creating value, and expanding their investment universe beyond traditional private equity. They are also democratizing rapidly and irresistibly.

The launch of IPEM Wealth “The Gateway to Private Market’s Future Capital” heralds a new era of growth for private capital, with the potential to raise $10 trillion in new capital from high net-worth individuals and retail investors over the next decade. Before private capital becomes a mass-market product, offering individual investors broad access to the most exciting investments in the real economy, it will need to learn and adapt. This will require significant product innovation, regulatory changes, market education, sales efforts, and ongoing debate. The Wealth track aims to bridge the gap between traditional wealth management and the dynamic world of private markets.

And to celebrate excellence and innovation across wealth management and private capital IPEM will recognize 7 outstanding achievements across 6 categories highlighting key contributions shaping the democratization of Private Markets. Of the 3,500 participants, from 1,300 firms 38% will be fund managers, 26% investors and 23% their advisors. IPEM Wealth 2025 is connecting Family Offices, Private Banks, Wealth Managers, and Fund Managers. All together 500 LPs, GPs, 300 advisors and 250 private banks, SFOs, MFOs and wealth managers will attend.
